COMMON INDICATORS

One of your exterior lights is not illuminating - this can range from your headlight to a brake light, or your signal light.

This light comes on when there is a message stored in your check control system - it can range from service being due to a light being out.

Your vehicle has low fuel if this light comes on. Prevent a check engine light and ensure optimal performance by filling up.

The correct windshield washer fluid helps maintain a clear windshield for you to see through. For all your Tahoe folks, this also helps prevent the development of ice.

Check your oil, and check it often! This light comes on because either your oil level is too low, or, there may be an issue with your oil level sensor. By maintaining your oil level, you are ensuring your internal engine parts to be properly lubricated.

A healthy battery is essential to your vehicle starting when you need it. If this light comes on and stays on after you've started the vehicle, you might have a weak battery or alternator.

Coolant helps prevent your vehicle from overheating. When this light comes on, it means there is an issue with your coolant level.

When this light comes on, it is pertinent you check your gas cap and ensure it's been tightened. If not, this can result in a check engine light coming on.

When it is 37 degrees or lower, your vehicle's temperature sensor will trigger to tell you it's cold - beware of cold/slippery surfaces!

This light can either mean your parking brake is still engaged, or, your brake fluid level might be low.

If this light remains on while driving, your vehicle is advising that your brakes should be checked.

This is a door ajar warning - this means one of your doors is not closed all the way. Keep your passengers, and precious cargo, safe at all times by making sure all doors/trunk is closed all the way.
